The Story:
This painting revealed itself one moment after another. Each layer creating such beautiful depths with bold shapes appearing over time.
Despite the pain I was going through, God used art to slowly restore me. It was particularly evident in this painting.
As I continued to pour my heart onto the canvas, I started to finally see value in myself--like a pearl in the oysters mouth--once a nuisance; an unpleasant, sandy pebble, turning into a beautiful piece of art to display on decadent bodies.
A precious stone. A jewel. Under the pressure and environment surrounding it, it became more valuable than its former state--changed forever--painfully clearer.
Stunning and mesmerizing.
Brilliant.
Bold.
Beautiful.
