The Story:
This original abstract painting is an alluring work that is both contemporary and intuitive.
As I started to create this piece, a dragons face emerged right from the beginning. Almost as if it wanted its story told.
I was moved by the shimmery golden edges and the gilded feel surrounding the dragon, as if it were a cave or coat of armour.
Like royalty, the allure of prestige and elegance embodies this work. And still, it has a sense of mysticism and fantasy about it, with a sly under current of deception.
The dragon alone reminded me of a many things. One lesson in particular that seem to stand out to me was how easily we can be fooled into believing something looks good, until you're burned by their flames.
