The Story:
This abstract painting was completely intuitive. I didn't think, I just grabbed the colours that expressed my emotions and went with it!
I am so glad I did!
During the creation of this particular painting, I had been spending time speaking affirmations over myself and thinking positively on how and why God had created me, what I was called to do, seeking God in intimate meditations and truly finding happiness while in the middle of the loud, chaotic jungle we call everyday life. And though there is a scary jungle we might have to walk through, if we truly look around, we find such beauty in the lusciousness of it all.
When I finished this painting, I sat in awe at what God created through me. There was so much depth, beauty, love, and expression.
Humbled and grateful that God would use me to bring this kind of beauty into the world, I sat back gobsmacked.
I was looking at truth in the physical form...the truth that God can really bring beauty from ashes.
