The Story:
This original abstract painting came from wanting a certain contrast in colour. I especially loved the blue. For whatever reason I was motivated and inspired by lines for this work. I find it fascinating that a line can literally go on forever.
It made me ponder a few things: There may be some aspects of a person's life that can go on forever, but we are all unique. Not all lines are straight. We are imperfect and have certain curves, splatters, marks as well as colours that make us different.
And I like being unique, not fitting into a standardized mold. Being different isn't boring. It's being alive.
